The China Sports Dance Federation was established in 1991, with its predecessor being the China Sports Dance Association. In 2002, the China Amateur Dance Competition Association, affiliated with the Ministry of Culture, formed the China Sports Dance Federation and became an official member of the World Sports Dance Federation (the organization was officially recognized by the International Olympic Committee in 1997).
In 2018, it was separated from the Social Sports Center of the General Administration of Sport of China, and currently, the breakdance project is jointly preparing for the Olympics with the Social Sports Center of the General Administration of Sport of China.
Wuxi WDSF Asian DanceSport Festival is a globally oriented, permanently settled,
